Cara's Career in Videos

In January 2019, I began work on my original musical, "Field Trip: The Musical." The first song I wrote for the musical was "What I See." A shortened version was used in the Playfest Edition.

In October 2023, Cara started a content creation class where she was assigned to create a piece of original content. This proof-of-concept music video, which she released publicly in February 2024, was the result.

Song description: Carmen Ellis Faye is a child genius when it comes to computers, but when it comes to making friends, she greatly struggles to the point where she isolated herself from everyone else. However, when a kind boy named Adam welcomes her into his friend group, she begins to develop feelings for him. Will she be able to confess her feelings to her love?

In May 2024, Cara and Birdie performed an original song for AMDA's Spring 2024 Studio Sessions #2.

In December 2023, Cara had used the extra room in her school schedule to take a filmmaking class. She spent seventeen weeks writing a script, storyboarding, directing, and starring in this romantic comedy short film! Bygones marks Cara's non-cosplay short film directorial debut!

Emmy (Cara) just wants a normal date with her partner, Sidney (Michele). Blake (Karsen) also wants a normal date with his boyfriend, Preston (Dante). And unfortunately, they all have way more than that in common.

In May 2024, Cara was offered the chance to star in this fantasy short film written and directed by Birdie La Barre.

When two adventurers-- naïve wizard Lydia and lone-wolf rogue Elodie-- meet in the forest on their way to the same nearby town, the two young women bond over their troubled pasts, and discover the possibility of a future that's a little less lonely than their present. After all, it's always about the friends we made along the way, isn't it?

In January 2024, Cara got the opportunity to appear as "the little freak" herself, Teagan Moroz, in Birdie La Barre's proof of concept for The Blackbriar Pact, an original web series based on Birdie's D&D campaign of the same name.

This proof of concept is a scene from Episode #108: "Honey Mitchell's Terrible Horrible No-Good Very Bad Day."

Performed in October 2019, Cara's portrayal of Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family at Act One Youth Theater earned her an AriZoni nomination for Actress in a Major Role in a Youth Musical. The production earned a total of eight AriZoni nominations, including Best Overall Production of a Youth Musical.

In December 2021, Cara returned home from college for winter break, gathered several fellow cosplayers into one place, and said, "I can't stop thinking about that one scene from TommyInnit's Dream SMP livestream on November 28th. Let's recreate it in real life." So, after lots of planning, rehearsals, and road trips up north, they did it.

Dream (Arunanim) has just escaped prison, and Tommy (TicTac Cara)- the most frequent victim of Dream's crimes- rushes to the place he was previously exiled, searching for a valuable axe he had buried there months before to use as a safety net. However, when he arrives there, he finds something far more sinister... 

On September 3rd, 2021, Cara hosted a Dream SMP-inspired cosplay panel at Saboten Con and invited several talented cosplayers to join her. This was not her first panel experience, but it was her first time hosting one. It was a daunting experience, but it turned out to be so much fun. After the panel ended, Cara had the cinematographer, Vanity Project Productions, send her the footage they recorded, and Cara edited it all herself and posted it on her YouTube channel just for fun. It turns out, however, that people really loved the idea of a Dream SMP cosplay panel. The video went pretty viral, and it now sits at over 200,000 views on YouTube.

On September 3rd, 2022, exactly a year after the first L'ManPanel, Cara was given the opportunity to host a sequel panel at Saboten Con 2022. This time around, it was filmed on a tripod and edited by EllieWishes, who then sent Cara the footage to upload to my channel. While this panel didn't get quite as much attention as the original, Cara has no regrets doing it as it was a lot of fun to host another panel.
