About Me

Cara Rizzi Richman (she/they) has always loved the art of storytelling, spending her time discovering various mediums through which she could tell her stories. She could sing before she could talk, and ever since, that is all she has wanted to do. This has led her to an interest in musical theatre.

Recently graduated AMDA College of the Performing Arts in Los Angeles, she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Performing Arts (Musical Theatre Specialty). She completed her first two years of study in New York City in The American Musical and Dramatic Academy's (AMDA's) Integrated Conservatory Program.

Born in New Jersey but spending most of her life in Arizona, she spent her childhood performing at local theaters across the Phoenix-Metro area.

Some of her favorite previous roles include Wednesday in The Addams Family, the Blue Fairy in My Son Pinocchio, Lucy Van Pelt in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Rico in Madagascar, and Belle in Beauty and the Beast.

She also has experience assistant directing (Dorothy in Wonderland at Act One Youth Theater), stage managing (Bill W. and Dr. Bob at Theatre 68; Newsies at Fountain Hills Theater), and being in other technical positions, including costume, hair, and makeup.

She is best known online for hosting a Dream SMP cosplay panel titled L’ManPanel, which is available to watch on her YouTube channel (TicTac Cara) and currently has almost 200,000 views.

She is also known for her cosplay account on TikTok, @tictac.cara, where she currently has over 43,000 followers and almost 900,000 likes.

Cara also enjoys creating edits of her cosplay photos, which she occasionally posts to her cosplay Instagram (same username as TikTok).

Equal to her love of music and theatre is her love of writing; she has written countless vignettes, poems, plays, songs, musicals, and novels.

One of her proudest accomplishments is Field Trip: The Musical, an original one-act musical she wrote, directed, choreographed, and composed for a live performance called Playfest at her high school. She is currently working on the full-length version of this musical, which she hopes to publish once it is completed.

Cara is also currently working on a full-length musical inspired by one of her favorite book series with her friend, Birdie La Barre.

Cara's experience with DAWs and Music Notation Software has allowed her to compose and arrange over 20 original songs.

Cara has won and been nominated for many awards for her hard work and dedication. These include:

When she is not studying, performing, or creating, she enjoys being on the move and is usually spending time with friends, traveling, fangirling, or doing all three at the same time.

She has traveled to four continents, is a proud collector of Tower of Terror merchandise, and will always take every opportunity to enjoy a bowl of poke.

She posts about her out-of-cosplay adventures on her main Instagram account, @cara.rizzi, as well as her Facebook page.
